Rotary Farm 2024 Winter Mix (Digital Download)

Description

Back in 2004, I started an end of year tradition of making annual mixtapes. This year’s release, ‘Rotary Farm 2024 Winter Mix’, marks the 20th edition of my personal ritual in music sharing. This release also marks a small departure in the series in that: 1) for the first time, the majority of this mixtape was recorded live rather than produced in a software timeline, and 2) out of the 17 tracks included, five I made myself and ten are original remixes/mashups.

For this release I’m trying something a little new with the distribution. There are two ways to get it:

1. The mix can be added to cart and downloaded here under a “pay what you want” model (entering $0 is totally fine, just go get it!)
2. I’ve also created a custom Rotary Farm 20th anniversary mixtape USB drive that contains all 20 mixtapes as individual .mp3 files as well as a single 11 hour and 17 minute continuous mix of mixtapes that can be purchased here.

I’m really most excited for people to hear the album, so please feel warmly invited to download it freely. But, if you enjoy this mix (or have enjoyed mixes in the past) and would like to support this process, then by all means please do so! I’m experimenting with this “pay what you want” model because I’d love to continue making more of these and financial support allows me to dedicate more time to projects like this.
