“Skyscapes” is a series of photographs taken of the sky at sunrise and sunset and then distorted with my Worlds In Figures custom software that uses historic mapping projections. This photo was taken in Turin, Italy, in the spring of 2024, and warped using the Conic Conformal projection from 1772, which is produced by placing a cone on the Earth and unwrapping it.
