5-Panel hat sewing template

If, like me, you are on a lifetime pursuit of the perfect hat, at some point you will reach the conclusion that no one is going to make it for you. Stop hunting for hats and start hunting for fabrics! I’ve created a sewing template and video tutorial showing exactly how to make what currently is my favorite hat design. It is soft but not floppy, light weight, and breathable and contains no plastics. I’ve refined this version by making dozens of variations on a standard 5-panel design. The bill dimensions, which are inspired from a Stetson long bill cap that I had for years and loved, are slightly longer than a typical baseball hat.
